BULLPEN

Anthony Balderas SR (RHP - Lewis-Clark) [NCAA: DIV III] 6’2”, 200-pounds - from California
- 2016 with the Dawgs: 15 appearances with the Dawgs last season, sporting a 4-0 record with two saves, 27 SO in 21 IP. ERA was sub-1, 0.85
- 2017 with Lewis-Clark: 17 IP 12 H 5 ER 10 BB 20 SO .190 OPP BA (2-1) 2.65 ERA
- 2016 with Lewis-Clark: Made 14 appearances, all in relief, and posted a 4-0 record with a 2.33 ERA. Balderas was second on the team with four saves. He pitched 27 innings and allowed 22 hits and seven earned runs. He had an outstanding strikeout/walk ratio with 28 strikeouts and only two walk. Opponents hit just .220 against him. He had three outings where he pitched at least two innings and did not give up a hit, walk or run.

Tyler Burdett SR (RHP - Dixie State) [NCAA: DIV II] 6’2”, 210-pounds - from Las Vegas
- 2016 with the Dawgs: 26.2 IP 32 H 7 ER 8 BB 21 K (3-1) 2.36 ERA
- 2017 with Dixie State: 17.2 IP 23 H 7 ER 6 BB 12 K (2-2) 3.57 ERA 4 SVs
- 2016: Appeared in 15 games out of the bullpen and went 1-0 with one save. He struck out nine in 19.0 innings pitched. Burdett finished second on the staff with a 1.89 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .250 average. He struck out a career-high three vs. Hawai’i Hilo (3/28).

Darius Foster FR (OF - Oregon State) [NCAA: DIV I] 6’0”, 180-pounds - from Peachtree Corners, GA
- debut with the Dawgs
- Division 1: Signed with OSU, set to play in 2018
- Foster is a 6-foot outfielder from Norcross High School in Georgia. He's rated as the No. 326 high school prospect by Perfect Game and is coming off a season in which he batted .350 with eight doubles, three triples and 16 RBI en route to a selection as all-league honorable mention. In 2015, at Lambert High School in Suwanee, Ga., he batted .379 with eight doubles, three triples, two home runs and 18 stolen bases and was also named all-league honourable mention.

Jayse McLean JR (OF - North Dakota State) [NCAA: DIV I] 6’3”, 220-pounds - from Great Falls, MT

- 2016 with North Dakota State: Saw action in 32 games, including 28 starts for NDSU ... Hit .255 with 25 hits in 98 at bats with eight RBIs, two doubles, 12 walks and a pair of stolen bases ... Went a perfect 4-of-4 at the plate with a double, two RBIs and a run scored in NDSU's contest at Lamar Feb. 28 ... Selected to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll as a Distinguished Scholar.

- 2016 with NU: Started in 53 games as a freshman...Led the team in hits with 65, runs with 37 and at bats with 213...Was tied for most doubles on the team with 14...Had seven games with three or more hits and five games with multiple RBIs...He scored a career-high three runs against Iona on May 1.
