The Okotoks Dawgs (24-11) begin their Saskatchewan road trip against the Yorkton Cardinals (10-26) today July 18, looking to bounce back after their first loss since July 4.

TO RECAP
The Dawgs came out on the losing side of an 18-10 contest against the Medicine Hat Mavericks, July 16, breaking their streak of seven straight wins. Okotoks was out-dueled in a highly offensive, 31-hit tilt. Eddie Sanchez, Matt Lloyd, Zach Hanna, and Darius Foster led the pack with multi-hit days while Kody Funderburk drove in two in the loss.

With just 12 games remaining in the regular season, the Dawgs are third in hits (386) doubles (74) and triples (11), second in home runs (30), two behind the Swift Current 57’s. When it comes to driving runs in, Okotoks is second in the WMBL in RBI (238), trailing just the Regina Red Sox by two. In terms of team average, the Dawgs are also second in the league, hitting .308 as a collective unit.
